# Get locations

You can host your data in different countries and locations. To get a list of all options you can use this API call. Use [this API call ](https://docs.ellipsis-drive.com/developers/api-v3/path/update-hosting-location)to update the location of a specific layer and [this API call](https://docs.ellipsis-drive.com/developers/api-v3/account/change-your-default-storage-location) to use a specific location as your default location.
