8. Visualize raster data
Once you have raster data uploaded to your drive, you can start creating visualizations! Ellipsis Drive offers you the ability to apply visualizations on the fly in the VISUALISATIONS tab under RASTER LAYERS.
Once your raster data is uploaded and processed, the drive will suggest a default visualization (such as a simple RGB image) but you are welcome to customize this or add extras . To do this click NEW VISUALISATION at the top right of the screen. When adding a new visualization, don't forget to give it a name!

When you have a fitting method selected you can specify your visualizations based on the values in your raster in Method options. The map at the bottom of your screen shows a preview of what your visualization will look like based on your current settings. When you are satisfied, click Save visualization at the top right of the screen.
Tip: When uploading i.e. classification, altitude, or measurement raster, it is best to upload them raw, rather than creating a visualization before uploading.
When uploading them raw, the visualization remains flexible. Meaning that you can add multiple and also change them on the fly.
