Unable to upload raster data to existing project
When you are unable to upload raster data to existing project you should take close look of the error message the you are receiving. These are your best indicator as to why your upload won’t go through.
Something to be mindful of when uploading new raster data to existing projects, is that the number of bands, and type of bands in the new data matches the data that is already there. A Map project can only contain raster data with the same bands. If your new upload does not match up, the drive will return an error message.
The solution to this problem is to drop your new raster data into a new Map project and use the Import Layer feature, at the bottom left of the viewer/editor, to import your new data layer into your existing project. To read more about using the Import Layer feature, click here.
