Ellipsis Drive allows you to easily use layers in other (GIS) software. You can do so via one of the many packages or by generating a link for an OGC standard protocol. Such links will have a token automatically included, guaranteeing correct access.
To generate a personal link, follow the steps below
1οΈβ£ Navigate to the Layer
2οΈβ£ Hit the 'plug' icon on the bottom right OR go to layer details and navigate to the INTEGRATE section in the Viewer
3οΈβ£ Click on the 'copy' button corresponding to XYZ/WMTS/WMS/WCS/WFS
4οΈβ£ Share this link with the intended audience or use it in your app. The link can then be consumed in GIS software of their choice like QGIS, ArcGIS, leaflet, mapbox etc.
The generated link contains a token that authorises your audience to work with the spatial data. The token is known as Personal Access Token.
Ellipsis Drive offers many plugins for integrating your layers into third party software. In many cases this can greatly simplify your work. There are plugins available for tools like QGIS, Mapbox, Leaflet, arcGIS, powerBI and many more. Visit the plugins page to see what plugin might suit your use case.
Follow the steps below to view all the tokens that you have generated for the maps.
1οΈβ£ Go to Manage Account
2οΈβ£ Click on Personal access tokens
When the token is revoked, the shared link becomes invalid and the consumer won't be able to access the spatial data anymore.
Follow the steps below if you want to revoke the token.
1οΈβ£ Go to Manage Account
2οΈβ£ Click on Personal access tokens
3οΈβ£ Click on the delete button
